Civil Defence/Correctional/Fire & Immigration Recruitment Portal 2025 is Open – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and lmmigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Inmigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps respectively.
CATEGORY A: GENERAL DUTY
SUPERINTENDENT CADRE
I. Superintendent of Corrections – CONMESS O2
Applicants must be holders of a Bacheler’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized Institution.
Note: This position is only available in the Nigerian Correctional Senice
(NCoS).
II. Assistant Superintemdent I – (ONPASS 99
Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following
Engineering field (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Water or other allied
related fields) or Bachelor Degroe in Law (LB, LLM) from a recognized Institution
Note: This position is only avaitable in the Federal Fire Serviee (FFS)
II. Asistant Superintendeat lI – (ONPASS O8
Applicants muss be hoders of a Bahclor’s Degree or Higher National
Diploma from a recognized Institution.
CATEGORY B: INSPECTORATE CADRE
I. Inspector – CONHESS 06
Applicants must be registercd Nurses (RN), Regiserod Midwive (RM),
Registered Nurses/Midwives (RN/RM) obtained from recognized institutions.
Note: This position is only available in the Nigerian Correctional Service
(NCoS, Federal Fire Service (FFS) and Nigeria Security amd Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
II. Asistant Inspector, CONPASS – 06
Applicants must be holders of NCE or National Diploma (ND) in any related
field, obaincd from any recognizcd Polytechnic Institution.
CATEGORY C: ASSISTANT CADRE
I. Assistant II – CONPASS 4 (General Duty)
Aplicants must be holders of GCE Ondinary level, SSCE/NECO or other
equivalents with a minimam of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings.
which should include English and Mathematics or holders of Trade Test
Grade ll (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians etc).
II. Assistant I – (General Duty, Drivers/Appliance Operators and Artisans) COMPASS 03
Applicants must be bolders of GCE Ordinary level, SSCENECO or other
equivalents with a minimum of four (4) credits in not nore than two sittings
or holders of Trade Test Grade Il (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians ctc)

Board’s portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng as from Thursday 26th June, 2025, to fill and submit the application for online.
Applicants should NOTE that they can apply in only ONE of the four (4)
Paramilitary Agencies of their choice and that multieple applications across the
Paramilitary Agencies will automatically be disqualified.
STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RECRUITMENT
Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
Applicants must passess the requisite qualifications, Any certificate or
qualification not presented and aceepted at the reeruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment
Applicants must be PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY At and present Certiicate of Medical Fitness from any recognizsd Government Hospital.
Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted
Applicants must not have been involved in any financial embarassment.
Applicants must be betwoen the ages 18 and 35 years
Applicants height must not be less than l.65m for male and 1.60m for
females.
Applican’s chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men.
Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
