The United Nations Global Compact Internship Program for Young Professionals in New York USA pursues two complementary objectives namely:

Making the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and its principles part of business strategy and operations everywhere; and
Facilitating cooperation among key stakeholders by promoting partnerships and other collective action in support of UN goals.

Functions of United Nations (UN) Global Compact successful applicants

Successful applicants will Conduct research relating to the topic of corporate sustainability, especially on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption;
Successful applicants will Draft and edit publications, papers and other documents;
Successful candidates Liaise with Global Compact stakeholders on key corporate sustainability topics;
Successful candidates Support the organization of meetings and events
Successful candidates will assist with outreach activities
Successful applicants will handle email and other inquiries
Successful applicants perform administrative tasks as assigned.

Who is eligible to apply for United Nations Global Compact Internship Program 2019

Interested Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programme (bachelors or second university degree, or higher) at the time of application and during the internship; or
For applicants to qualified under some circumstances, applicants may have graduated within less than one year to commence a UN internship.
