GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following:

  1. National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognised Polytechnic.
    1. Evidence of one year post National Diploma (ND) relevant Industrial Works Experience Scheme (SIWES).
    1. Applicants must satisfy all requirements for admission into relevant ND programmes in the relevant department of choice.

Applicants from other Polytechnics should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded by their Institutions early enough to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice from Economics/Commerce, Business Studies, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Geography, Government, Biology/Agricultural Science, and History/Government etc.

Duration: Full Time: Two (2) years

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other subjects relevant to area of discipline of choice.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects in Arts or Science relevant to area or discipline of choice.

In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must obtain one (1) credit pass from any of the following: Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry,                       Technical    Drawing,    Building    Construction,   Woodwork,    Concreting, Carpentry, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Geography, Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity and Economics.

(E).     SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Duration: Full Time: Two (2) years

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE O/Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) Subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice.

In addition to the above, applicants must possess a credit pass in any one (1) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics/Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Woodwork and Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity.

(F).    SCHOOL OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Duration: Full Time: Two (2) years

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics and any two (2) subjects relevant to the programme.

Duration: Full Time: Two (2) years (Diploma)

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice one of which must be Literature in English.

GENERAL      ENTRY      REQUIREMENTS       FOR      IJMBE     AND      ‘A’LEVEL PROGRAMMES

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects in Arts, or Sciences or Social Sciences relevant to area or discipline of choice.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR REMEDIAL PROGRAMME

Applicants must have attempted GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent and are deficient in basic ‘O’ Level Subjects.

INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION (ICE) “WEEKLY AND WEEKEND PROGRAMME”.

Duration: Five (5) Semesters (21/2 years)

Applicants must satisfy all requirements for admission into relevant National Diploma Programmes in the relevant Department of choice.

Applicants from other institutions should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded by their various institutions early enough to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola, Port Harcourt.

Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) Subjects relevant to area or discipline of choice.

5.    PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

  1. Professional Diploma in Safety and Security Management
  2. Professional   Diploma   in   Occupational   Health   and   Environmental   Risk Management

Duration: Part Time Six (6) Months.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent with three (3) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any Arts or Science subjects relevant to area of discipline of choice.

Note: Admission into the National Diploma Programmes is open to candidates who sat and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2019/2020 scored 120 points and above and satisfies the minimum UTME cut off point for specific programmes.

Applicants may be required to undertake a screening exercise. Applicants will be notified of the date and venue of the screening exercise where applicable.

Candidates who did not choose, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt may also apply as there are very limited opportunities for admissions into ND Programmes for 2019/2020 Academic year. (Such candidates are required to do change of choice to JAMB and make the Institution the first choice.).

How to Buy and Process Port Harcourt Polytechnic Post UTME and HND form 2021/2022

  • Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the  Polytechnic’s  Website” www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng   or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng .
    • Application Form costs Twelve Thousand Naira (N12, 000.00) only. All applicants are required to pay additional Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2, 500.00) only and Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) only as portal and bank charges respectively.
    • All interested candidates are expected to apply online by logging into the Polytechnic’s portal: www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng to make an e-payment. Candidates can make the e-payment by either generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceed to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB and Union Bank) to pay, using the Pay Direct option or with an Interswitch enabled Verve or Master Card.
    • Please note that all Applicants are required to submit their Application Receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.
    • All Completed online forms must be printed and submitted to the Admissions Office with Confirmed Application Receipts and other supporting documents/credentials not later than 31st August, 2019.
