How to Apply for Police Character Certificate

Step 1:

Visit: https://possap.gov.ng/ into your browser.

Step 2:

On the home page, you will have to SIGN UP with your first name, last name (surname, which is also known as family name in some countries), your phone number, and a valid e-mail address, and click “SIGN UP”

Step 3:

Complete the sign up process

Step 4:

By the left handside of the application portal, enter your email address, and the application ID you got from step 3, click “Login”

Step 5:

From there, you will see a welcome message with your name, click “CLICK HERE TO PROCEED”you will be taken to the complete form page with the following required information:

Step 6:

Upload the bio-data page of your International Passport, Passport Photograph

Step 7:

Select the police command closest to you for capture

Step 8:

Make payment, the Proceed to your capture when you receive an SMS
