(1)Job Title: Key Account Manager (Doroki)

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Department: Sales & Distribution
Sector: Financial Institution
Reports To: Regional Manager, Doroki
Career Level: Grade 9

Job Description

  • The Key Account Officer will be responsible for bringing onboard high net worth sellers, merchants, and businesses on Doroki and driving activities to deliver on set targets.
  • The main goal is to acquire new key Merchants/Sellers/Businesses and manage relationships with existing ones.
  • To be successful you will need to be comfortable spending significant time in the field meeting the merchants and working with them to exceed set targets.
  • You must be someone with a strong ability to influence and work collaboratively across teams.

Roles/ Responsibilities

  • Achieve commercial targets – the Key account officer has the ownership of achieving the overall commercial targets set for the territory of coverage. The targets include but not limited to active merchant, revenue, recruitment, transaction value and volume.
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Meeting with merchants virtually or during sales visits to demonstrate and present Doroki product offering.
  • Proactively acquire new merchants and deepen existing relationships, by building a healthy pipeline of prospects using approved sales CRM tools.
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints.
  • Strategic planning to improve client results.
  • Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Expand relationships and bringing in new clients.
  • Manage merchants’ expectations, adhere to company policies, procedures & controls, and ensure compliance with rules & regulations
  • Conduct regular spot check on merchant activities and share feedback with the team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Analyse data using available tools/dashboard.
  • Understand, utilize, and support the service architecture created for the support of Key Doroki merchants.
  • Give timely updates or gather market intelligence on Doroki service efficiency and effectiveness and channel issues and concerns to the appropriate unit
  • Pilot new services initiatives for key Doroki merchants and provide feedback for enhancements.
  • Work with support teams to ensure that key merchants get adequate support and proper communication to drive satisfaction and usage.
  • Identifies Service enhancements/service improvements, document them and discuss them with the line manager.
  • Analise & monitor key merchant collections and channel trends to be able to make recommendations on business and service enhancements.
  • Conduct periodic surveys on merchants for service improvement.
  • Use trends to engage proactively, and support key merchant business by introducing new ways to optimize channels.
  • Generates and reports daily/ weekly key merchant Performance to the line manager.
  • Work with the marketing team and line manager, to ensure proper branding support is delivered to key merchants on time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in sales.
  • Must be able to work in a high-velocity, high performance environment.
  • Must be able to develop and communicate competitive landscape analysis.

Job Description

  • As a Senior Software Engineer at Paga, you will take on ownership for the implementation and technical effectiveness of broad functional and/or technical areas of the platform.
  • You will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the design and improvement of the solutions you work on.
  • You will be expected to contribute to the development of the improvement of the software development practice as a whole through peer leadership, code review, technical training, process improvement and technical thought leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Degree in a related discipline
  • 6+ years of continuous experience working on enterprise software application development OR an advanced degree in a related discipline and at least 4+ years of continuous experience working on enterprise software application development
  • Solid experience working with team development tools and organization structures.
  • Ability to multitask very well
  • Comfort and experience providing technical leadership in a software development team.
  • Code Sophistication – Understands a wide range complex code constructs, design patterns and frameworks proficiently and is able to navigate and apply them in their work. Is able to adapt third party frameworks to work better within their own domain of work. Is able to conceive of and implement custom frameworks that improve product development for themselves and others.
  • Code Performance and Optimization – Is a “performance-maven”, consistently applying performance-optimization considerations in work products. Actively contributes to the improvement of product design from a technical perspective including usability, security, memory management, manageability, reliability and performance.
  • Abstraction Knowledge – Has mastery of most abstract software engineering concepts, applies them broadly across their work and improves the work of junior peers by applying these concepts in feedback.
  • Technical Independence – Has end-to-end product development ownership for broad products/features/framework or product areas. Engages and provides constructive input into platform-wide technical and architectural discussions.
  • Code Testing (Manual, Auto, Unit) – Contributes to the overall improvement of code testability and code testing tools and processes.

Job Description

  • An Operational Risk & Compliance support will assist to coordinate operational risk processes in the company, conducting analysis and monitoring compliance of internal policies and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to be analytical, and participate in the company’s policy setting, while working to reduce the risk of loss from abuse and compliance violations.

Roles/ Responsibilities

  • Support the Risk and Compliance team in the implementation of the annual risk and compliance plans
  • Support close out procedures for process improvement in alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist in preparing for meetings and other events
  • Assist with the compilation of information required for the Compliance Register
  • Verification of documents provided by Businesses during onboarding
  • Assist with other functions within the team where required
