Job Description

- We are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join the Marketing and Corporate Communications team. This is a hybrid role based in Ikoyi, Lagos.
- As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be the go-to expert in analyzing the company’s digital marketing activities and proposing actionable strategies to improve digital marketing performance to maximize returns.
Job Roles/Responsibilities
- Design digital marketing campaigns to effectively promote products and ideas
- Determine the strengths and weaknesses of the competition in the market and pinpoint advantageous strategies
- Analyzing page clicks, keyword hits, search engine traffic, other data and set up a tracking mechanism (e.g. event and conversion tracking) on the website and other digital assets such as mobile apps
- Keep marketing and sales teams up-to-date on current campaigns, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are the most effective and which are not, and advising them on how to tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and create more revenue.
- Create detailed reports showing the amount of traffic online campaigns are creating, how much campaigns cost, and outlining the timetables and schedules for online marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the budget data for pay-per-click accounts on a daily basis to manage campaign costs and provide expense information to the business.
- Drive successful communication campaigns, and report on relevant product metrics – Churn rate, CLV, Adoption rate etc.
- Utilize email as a form of direct marketing and means of communicating marketing messages, advertisements, sales solicitation, and upon completion, analyze campaign results and use for business decisions.
- Proactively seek user information to build useful insights for updating product features
- Analyze, visualize, and communicate lead lifecycle to close
- Measure ROI of all digital marketing activities
- Report regularly on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of B.Sc Degree from accredited university
- 3+ year experience in corporate communications, advertising and/or marketing research
- Certification on digital analytics e.g Google analytics
- Professional certification in Public Relations or advertising from a recognized professional body (e.g. CIPR, NIPR, APCON).
- Technical capabilities and a desire to improve processes
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills including a talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
- The go-to for all things data interpretation – you are a trusted partner to communicate insights to a variety of audiences
- A can-do, collaborative personality and detail orientation that can lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to identify what marketing activities are working and where there are opportunities for optimization.
