NPOWER NEW UPDATE 2017: Posting, Deployment & Payment of 2017 Npower Verified Applicants

Much fear and questions have been raised by the 2017 Npower applicants who successfully carried out their physical verification exercise last year about what has gone wrong about the Npower programme. The question now still remains what are the Npower officials saying about the 2017 Npower applicants’ final list for posting and deployment of applicants.

The information contained in this post is all about the 2017 pre-selected applicants who recently completed their screening and verification exercise and are waiting for the final deployment and posting letter to various PPAs.

The 2017 Npower Pre-Selected Applicants

The 2017 Npower programme for the Npower pre-selected applicants is very much different from that of the 2016 Npower beneficiaries, but are all in one FG Job creation exercise. The system of selection of the 2017 Npower applicants is also not in line with the system used in the previous Npower selection (Npower 2016). In other hand the similarity here is that the programme is expected to last for 2 years.

Releasing of the Final selection list

This is the part we all have been waiting for. Well the final list will be out in a soon, as there will be the release of the final list of  successfully verified Npower applicants for deployment and posting to various Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) after the just concluded physical verification exercise last year. Bear in mind that the list will be released any moment from now. So please exercise a little patience as the Npower team arrange the list for final publication/publishing.

Posting and Deployment of Applicants

Immediately after the release of the Selection final list, follows the deployment and posting of applicants to their different PPAs where they will start to execute their duties with a posting letter of appointment handed to each applicants. Afterwards they will be referred to online to login Npower portal to update their data.

Selection of the Npower Device and its distribution

Remember that during the online registration, you were asked to select a device of your choice, which many applicants did, while some did not. Well for those who did not select any device then, will be given another opportunity to select a device of their choice. Every deployed applicants will be given an electronic device to enhance their skills in the programme. However, the distribution of this devices it will done in batches and phases.

Payment of beneficiaries and Payment Issues

The true is that all 2017 Npower applicants who were successful and have been handed a posting letter will be paid their monthly stipends as promised by the FG. This will be done with ease if the applicant’s bank account details are correct, correspond with their BVN and have updated their personal information and banking details. Each applicant will be entitled to a monthly stipends  of Thirty Thousand Naira(N30, 000).
