Npower 2020 Registration Update

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo stated in a virtual conversation this June, 2020 on Channelstv that the NPower programme will be expanded to accommodate more Nigeria youths.

According to the Professor Osinbajo, this is in accordance with president Buhari effort of taking 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years (Poverty Eradication Scheme).

The Ministry of humanitarian affairs Minister Sadiya Umar Farouq also disclosed to newsmen a week ago that the ministry is going to streamline the NPower scheme to  begin the recruitment of  more youths into the programme.

The Ministry has previously stated also that the existing Npower beneficiaries will be transitioning into sustainable ventures to enable new recruitment.

We hope that permanent job will be provided to all existing beneficiaries of the programme, because Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria rendered a lot of Nigerian jobless already.

So sending the existing npower beneficiaries home without any backup will be disastrous.
