NPC E-Birth Registration Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment 2023 | How to Apply & Requirements

UNICEF, NYSC, and NPC Partner to Enhance Birth Registration in Nigeria – In a collaborative effort to enhance birth registration in Nigeria, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), National Population Commission (NPC), and UNICEF have formed a valuable partnership. This strategic alliance aims to provide digital birth registration services in 22 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), benefiting an estimated 12 million under-5 children in Nigeria.

Significance of the Partnership:

The collaboration between UNICEF, NYSC, and NPC represents a significant step forward in improving birth registration in Nigeria. Currently, only 40% of children in the country are registered at birth, leading to adverse consequences such as reduced access to essential services, increased vulnerability to exploitation, and limited opportunities for education, employment, and social mobility.
