NPC adjusts Training Time Table for Enumerators and Supervisors – Check Now

The National Population Commission has announced that the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors earlier scheduled to begin on Monday 6th February, 2023, will no longer hold as planned.

The Director of Census, National Population Commission, Mrs Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun made this known in memo, on Sunday, while addressing recent adjustments in the enumeration timelines.

Mrs Olanipekun stated that the new date for the LGA level training for Enumerators and Supervisors will be communicated soon as the 6th February commencement date is inconvenient for the Trainers.

The NPC’s decision on adjusting the LGA level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors is not far from the fact that the Specialised WorkForce and Facilitators just concluded their State Level Training on Sunday 5th February, 2023, and would need to rest before starting the training of Enumerators and Supervisors.

Mrs Olanipekun however noted that Self Leaning Sessions and a Virtual Classroom Training will be organised shortly before the commencement of the LGA level Training.

As the state level training is winding  down , you may wish to be informed that the Enumeration timelines has been adjusted  and as such the LGA level training for the Enumerators and Supervisors will not start again on Monday 6th February 2023, the new date will be communicated soon.

“Meanwhile trainers and trainees should maintain communication on their respective class WhatsApp platforms , because every trainer and trainees will have to continue with the self leaning sessions and a virtual classroom training will be organized shortly before the LGA level training.

In a recent development, the Muslim Communities have appealed to the National Population Commission to reschedule the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise as the Enumeration date, 28th March to 2nd April 2023, falls within the month of Ramadan  – when Muslims are expected to commence the 2023 Ramadan Fasting.
