Job Title: Accountant (ISP)

Location: Lekki / Ajah – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are looking for an Accountant to perform variety of daily duties in our accounts department.

Job Roles/Responsibilities

• Preparing annual statutory accounts and managing annual audits.
• Preparing the monthly or quarterly accounts.
• Managing the day to day accounting transactions.
• Reconciling all accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of management reports.
• Managing the accounts payable function.
• Managing the accounts receivable, alerting Management about problem accounts.
• Payroll processing and other associated payroll tasks.
• Assisting the Account/Finance Manager with Liaising with external agencies for yearly accounts and tax issues.
• Assisting with the production of budget and forecast.
• Performing tasks assigned by the Account/Finance Manager.
• Performing all other duties assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
• Working towards professional qualification.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience as an Accountant.
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily duties.
• Excellent time management.
• Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to take on responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• All-round accounting knowledge.
• Intermediate computer and accounting software skills, including Excel, SAGE and other accounting software packages.
