Due to the huge traffic during the first week of opening of the nalda registration portal, the officials and technical team had to shut down the site temporarily to carry out a system upgrade that will accommodate the large number of applicants at a time without crashing during the process of nalda application and BYFN registration.
The upgrading of the site is still going on, to show you a proof, have you noticed that there is a change in the NALDA Registration URL?
The Former URL for the site was www.nalda.ng now the new URL as the update is going on is www.registration.nalda.ngand now it has been redirected to www.nalda.ng/naldang.
As stated by nalda technical team in one of their social media page,
We are aware that our application portal is still not accessible please, we are redesigning and upgrading to a higher Database version. Once we are done we will inform the general public to continue registering”
“We thank you for your interest in the NALDA Volunteer Program and the BYFN. Due to traffic congestion and processing of the initial applicants, the application portal is temporarily closed and will be reopened soon after the upgrade is completed.”
“Meanwhile those that register already will not need to register again. Thank you for your patience please.”
Once the upgrade is completed the nalda.ng site will redirect to the new nalda registration portal.
