The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is currently conducting the BMTC 44 recruitment for Airmen/Airwomen. If you are interested and qualified, you can apply or register using the steps and guidelines below.

The Nigerian Air Force is one of the largest air branches in Africa, with about 15,000 personnel and various aircraft. They are currently recruiting for Airmen/Airwomen for their Basic Military Training Course 44 in 2023.

Job Title: Airmen / Airwomen Recruitment Exercise (Basic Military Training Course 44 / 2023)

Location: Nationwide

Qualification Criteria

• Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and have a National Identity Card/NIN or BVN.
• Minimum height requirement: 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.
• Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
• Must not have any previous conviction(s) on criminal grounds by a court of law.

Requirements for Non-Tradesmen / Women

• Age requirement: between 18 and 22 years (Applicants born before 31 March 2001 are not eligible).
• Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than 2 sittings in SSCE / NECO / GCE / NABTEB.

Requirements for Tradesmen / Women

• Age requirement: between 18 and 25 years (Applicants born before 31 March 1998 are not eligible).
• Age requirement for Chaplains Assistant, Assistant Imam, and Driver / Mechanic: between 18 and 28 years (Applicants born before 31 March 1995 are not eligible).
• Minimum of ND / NCE with lower credit from accredited institutions.
• Minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than 2 sittings in SSCE / NECO / GCE / NABTEB.
• Additional minimum requirements for candidates applying as drivers and other trades skills that require Trade test.
• Applicants applying as sportsmen/women must provide evidence of their experience, such as certificates and medals.

Application Guidelines

• Applicants are required to apply only once. Multiple applications will be disqualified.
• After completing the online application, applicants should print out the following documents:
  • Local Government Attestation Form (To be signed by a military officer or Local Government Chairman).
  • Parent / Guardian Consent Form.
  • Acknowledgment Form.
