1) Quality Analyst

Job Description
- Perform work in a safe manner.
- Analyse testing and inspection following the established manufacturing inspection, sampling, statistical process control and the Standard Test Method (STM) and documenting them on the PASS system and generate required report to verify compliance to RFT Make and product attribute standard
- Share expertise and knowledge of product quality and the consumer impact with operation’s crews.
- Provide accurate, real-time audits of plant inspection and testing results to identify and correct quality deficiencies on shift.
- Review documentation and determine disposition of key raw materials.
- Provide timely, effective communication of quality system changes, updates and concerns to operation crew members.
- Assist with troubleshoot PASS related software issues.
- Provide Operations with testing, inspection and general machine support as needed to meet quality objectives.
- Complete documentation for held or rejected finished product and raw material and ensure held and rejected material are clearly labelled for traceability and inform the Lead Quality Analyst
- Coordinate on shift re-work of held finished product according to procedures.
- Monitor and identify crew specific quality development needs and communicate this to the Lead Quality Analyst
- Participate in providing quality training to the Operations crew on product quality.
- Communicate quality systems changes, trials/waiver activity, specification updates and concerns to crew members.
- Compiling of shift quality reports and accumulating quality statistical data.
- Identify and report non-conforming product (NCP) and verify NCP raised by the operations following standard procedure for NCP
- Support all RFT related activities (Design, Procure , Move , Sell)
- Maintain and calibrate quality testing equipment and instruments as per schedule and report any defective instrumentation to the Quality Leader Specialist.
- Support execution of Quality protocols and Trial activity.
- Adherence to KC Safe Work Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, LEAN Manufacturing Principles and maintain Housekeeping Standards.
- Ensure QA records of retained samples are properly maintained.
- Support quality leader specialist with entrenching quality mind-set and ensuring process improvement.
- Support the implementation of QMS 9001: 2015 and QMSR of K-C
- Back up for the Lead Quality Analyst and assist in performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of Finished products in process materials and recommends corrective actions.
2) Packaging Machine Operator

Main Responsibilities
Safety:
- Complies with all Environmental, Health and Safety rules, procedures and works instructions at all times.
Quality:
- Check for visual defects and measure basic parameters to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Take appropriate corrective actions.
- Make adjustments to the machine on instruction form the Quality Associate Report problems outside of incumbent scope to Team Leader.
Housekeeping:
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene in the department and follow 5S Housekeeping principles.
- Report all damages or defective equipment as and when damage occurs.
Productivity:
- Communicate with outgoing counterpart ( hand over)
- Check for housekeeping and safety opportunities
- Prepare and load packaging materials as required on the machine
- Run the machine, monitor and make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain quality, waste and productivity standards.
- Report any major deviations or defects to Team Leader
- Participate in change overs as required
- Participate in changing operational supplies (consumables)
- Provide assistance to Team Leader as instructed
- Record relevant production information’ in appropriate log book accurately

3) Mill Logistics Manager

Main Purpose of Job
- This position reports to the Plant manager/Operations Director and is the leader for the logistic team based at the Mill.
- This role requires strong leadership to motivate and promote cross-functional teamwork in achieving consistent service to the Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Distribution departments to effectively manage mill inventory, materials inward and supply, Palletizing and Distribution operations.
- To manage and control the total Logistic operation for Lagos Mill and support mill operations by providing a high-quality materials management service, accurate inventory control and effective personnel deployment, in order to achieve both the facility and corporate business objectives.
- Effective management and control of Mill logistic operations to ensure accurate inventory management, 100 % material availability and quality, first in class finish goods palletizing standards and cost effective distribution operation in line with Business demands.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business accreditation
- Minimum 10 Years’ experience in a FMCG – working in SAP/R3 environment of which at least 3- 5 years must have been carried out at a middle management level
- Advance knowledge, experience & understanding of integrated business systems, applications & concepts, plus advanced level of Microsoft Office literacy
- Must have demonstrated strong leadership qualities in line with recognized policies and practices
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication (written & verbal) skills will be essential
- Strong data entry and capturing skills (must be very accurate).
- Strong analysing skills to identify root causes for consumption differences and to go after issues identified.
- Numerical Skills
- SAP R/3 skills and high-level process knowledge of the manufacturing process and materials used in the manufacturing process
- Should have a basic understanding of the end to end planning and operations process
