Kano State Government Postgraduate Scholarship 2023/2024 – This is to inform the public about the Postgraduate Scholarship. The Kano State Government has opened applications for Postgraduate Scholarships for Kano State Indigenes with First Class Honours Degrees as promised.

Recall that the last scholarship was offered in 2015 by Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s Administration which sponsored the third batch of 503 first-class graduates to 4 different countries.

After eight years without postgraduate foreign scholarship by the last administration, H.E. Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, The Executive Governor of Kano State has approved the resumption of the postgraduate foreign and local scholarship with effect from the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates to undertake postgraduate studies in Nigerian and Foreign Universities for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Eligibility:

Applicants for the scholarship must:

1. Be an indigene of Kane State
2. Have graduated with a First class honor degree or equivalent from a reputable university/institution
3. Be medically fit to travel and study.
