News: JAMB Reverse Candidates’ Change of Course/Institution – See What to Do if affected

Did you do jamb change of course/institution 2020-  Are you among Candidates that did Change of Course/Institution in recent days or did you received an SMS from Jamb that your Change of Course/Institution Reversal  has been reversed, please you need to read this post carefully.

Those that did their JAMB UTME Change of Course/Institution in CBT Centers that violated its rules are here to take note that JAMB has Reversed all the application of change of course./institution submitted.

We use this medium to inform all candidates that did Change of Course/Institution or that made use of Jamb data correction portal  and received SMS/notification from Jamb should go and apply for another jamb change of course/institution immediately.

Reason while JAMB reversed some candidate’s Change of Course/Institution

• Candidate’s change of Course/institutions was reversed due to some JAMB CBT centre that violated JAMB guidelines.
• If you did not generate OTP during Change of Course or Institution it will affect you this 2020.

TO RESOLVE the issue, Go and effect the change of course at any approved CBT centre and get your JAMB payment OTP.

How to know if your JAMB Change of Course/Institution were Reversed

• First of all, you will receive an SMS stating that your jamb correction/change of course/institution has been reversed.

OR

• Login to your JAMB Dashboard via jamb.gov.ng with your Email address and password
• On the search link on the top menu of your dashboard or portal; Type CAPS
• Click on Admissions and right click on Check UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS
• Click on Admission Status
• Check the Course and Institution showing if it corresponds with the one you selected

How to Generate/get OTP for JAMB Change of Course/Institution

• First go to any CBT centre nearer to you
• Request to generate OTP from the previous payment
• No payment is required again; the initial payment cover all, all you need to do is to settle with CBT center for little money.
• JAMB will send you OTP which you will use to verify your Change of Course and Institution
• Finally, CBT Centers will process it and send you the soft copy or hard Copy when done.
