New update on how to check jamb result 2020

Due to some portal changes and upgrade in the system, Jamb has brought a new way of checking the jamb results. It is called Mobile Result Checker (MRC).

Rather than keeping candidates waiting, they decided to make it easier until the results are officially released.

Jamb said that they want to redesign their website to suit this year Admission.

Candidates can now check their result at ease without going through stress with the new jamb Mobile Result Checker (MRC) update

Why official delaying of jamb 2020 Result:

• Jamb site under construction and maintenance.
• Checking for Double Registration: we are trying to sort and fix everything together. We found out that there are 60 candidates that registered twice. So we are working on it to choose one result and cancel the other.
• Exam Malpractice Issues: we are selecting Candidates that cheated in the exam hall and we have cancelled about 5000 results so far, while 10000 will be rescheduled.
• Addition of marks

Other reasons for the delay

Due to the malpractice level that occurred most in two CBT center at Abia state. Jamb has decided to shut down the CBT center. And reschedule the exam again for the candidates affected.

100 students has been arrested by jamb for the disobeying the rules in this year exam including the owners of the CBT centers.

They collect money from candidates inside exam hall and dispose a paper in form of working sheet to them. The paper contains answers.

While some came with machineries that wrote for them. Jamb said that they will face the law and it’s judgment.

 

How to Check Your JAMB 2020 Result via jamb MRC

New Method of Checking Result (Jamb Mobile Result Checker 2020): Jamb has disclosed that candidates who wish to check their Result should SMS/Text RESULT to 55019 with the phone number used during their online registration.

If you Result is out, you will see congratulations (YOUR NAME ) your 2020 jamb result is (JAMB SCORE).

But if not yet release, you will see , ( YOUR NAME ) your 2020 UTME results is not yet released.
