HOW THE JAMB CUT OFF MARK IS SET/ AGREED ON BEFORE IT’S BEEN RELEASED

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB releases the CUT OFF MARK of any concluded JAMB examination after the examination has been concluded. According to the previous JAMB cut off mark, it is done by accumulating all the marks of the students / candidates to get the average of all the scores, before releasing the cut off mark for the year.

Also the cut off mark for the year is set by the performance of the candidates in that year’s examination, if the performance of the JAMB is low, definitely the cut off mark for that year will be reduced to the lowest minimum, likewise the performance of the student is high, the JAMB cut off mark for that year will be high.

So don’t panic on about the 2021 JAMB CUT OFF MARK as the cut off mark will be set to your favour

JAMB CUT OFF MARK 2021 FOR POST UTME IN ALL TERTIARY INSTITUTION

Now that you have known how  the year’s cut off mark is been set, lets then go to the JAMB cut off of the just concluded JAMB examination (JAMB UTME CUT OFF MARK 2020)

Note the cut off mark that will be stated in this post is due to the research carried out from previous years, IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE but, this cut off mark is about 60% accurate following our research from previous years.

REVIEWS OF PREVIOUS JAMB CUT OFF MARKS

In 2014 – 2016, the JAMB cut off was slashed from TWO HUNDRED (200) NATIONAL CUT OFF MARK to ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (180) NATIONAL CUT OFF MARK. In 2017 which we taught that the cut off mark will be retained, it was then slashed down from ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (180) NATIONAL CUT OFF MARK to ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY (120) national cut of mark, polytechnics and colleges of education at 100, while that of innovative enterprising institutes was at 110. Who could have believed that JAMB would have scooped so low to release such a low cut off mark for the year 2017, you can attest to that.

2020 JAMB CUT OFF MARK FOR ALL INSTITUTIONS

Finally, according to the above information, I put it up to you that the 2018 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB cut off mark will be set from the range of 120 -150 NATIONAL CUT OFF MARK.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL JAMB 2021 CANDIDATES

Now that your mind is at rest on the JAMB 2018 Cut off mark, it is important to bring to your notice that not all tertiary institution in Nigerian will make use of the 120 -150 national cut off mark. Institutions like UNIBEN, UNILAG, UNIPORT to mention a few did not make use of the 120 cut off mark for the 2017 JAMB UTME cut off mark. BE WISE!!
