Job Description
- At ETAP, we are a Product team driven by data, and focused on building the most powerful Auto Insurance product and business in Africa.
- We are looking for a Senior Growth Strategy Manager who will work with us in a highly collaborative fashion and maintain an open and transparent work environment. As a part of the Product team, you will put your theories and vision into action from strategy to execution. Your objective is to plan and execute new plays with ETAP’s business partner, monitor and analyze the success of these initiatives, and optimize each accordingly.
- A successful candidate would be required to become a subject matter expert and develop a key understanding of factors that drive business success for ETAP. The candidate would also play a key role in helping the team to refine and develop its strategy, and to explore ways to maximize its impact. This involves grappling with difficult questions around scaling, opportunity identification and packaging product solutions.
- The candidate should be able to clearly articulate and defend their recommendations in front of leadership, and then drive any follow-on execution with cross-functional teams.
- They would also be responsible for managing and updating the material and resources that the team relies on to be successful, such as: sales collateral, trend and performance analysis, market research and competitive analysis.
Job Roles/Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of partnerships across various platforms and verticals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop partner management strategy.
- Lead impactful growth projects to improve efficiency across the team.
- Create a clear and compelling medium and long-term strategy and vision for driving growth, with a data-informed roadmap to realize that vision.
- Plan and execute lead generation and customer acquisition campaigns across digital channels (e.g. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop a digital strategy that encompasses customer growth and budget.
- Lead development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns across email marketing, content marketing, paid ads, and partner collaboration to increase sales and optimize customer acquisition costs.
- Ensure consistency across all brand-related touchpoints and solidify our brand identity to become the gatekeeper of our brand.
- Drive adoption of ETAP’s products and lead the growth effort for the realization of ETAP’s growth targets and other agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and drive new digital growth initiatives to improve lead generation, acquisition, retention, and conversion performance.
- Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns as well as brand-related content calendars for social media marketing.
- Create growth strategies such as acquisition strategies and retention strategies that helps to increase the ETAP’s user base.
- Create, implement, and manage SEO strategies for ETAP’s organic growth & build an SEO content strategy for ETAP’s offerings.
- Lead keyword research in coordination with various teams on their business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
- Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data.
- Design and adapt Sales messages per channel and segment.
- Work with designed guidelines and framework for capturing the customer’s requirement to ensure that the appropriate solution for the customer is consistently presented in ETAP’s products.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant academic degree. MBA is strongly preferred.
- 3 or more years owning lead and conversion metrics at a consumer startup in a marketing position.
- Have genuine interest and curiosity about ETAP, and consumer insurance in general.
- Enjoy working as a team to solve problems collaboratively.
- Solid understanding of SEM, SEO, and performance marketing channels and optimization.
- Experience with email, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Proficiency with product-led growth is a plus.
- Shown success in improving qualified signup and conversion rates.
- Excellent communication skills, along with an analytical mindset and a curious nature. You love to solve problems, get hands-on, experiment, measure, and use automation to optimize processes and programs.
- Excellent knowledge of PPC, SEO, Social Media, Brand Advocacy, and Loyalty Campaigns
- An initiator and a pusher. Has the urge and ability to make things happen and to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to handle a number of concurrent activities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
