Duties and Responsibilities

Observer Management

  • Recruit and manage LGA Supervisors and PU Observers within assigned locations
  • Ensure observer participation in pre-election and Election Day activities with timely reporting
  • Facilitate observer accreditation with INEC

Training

  • Support and conduct trainings/workshops for observers and supervisors
  • Assist with logistics for training sessions

Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain regular reporting to Zonal Program Officer and WTV team
  • Document insights, best practices, and lessons learned

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the organisation at the state level
  • Engage INEC, civil society, media, and security stakeholders
  • Promote the #WatchingTheVote initiative

Logistics & Administration

  • Manage funds and resources in line with organisational procedures
  • Oversee logistics for trainings, workshops, and stakeholder activities

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Political Science, or related fields
  • Proven experience in civic engagement, election observation, or project management
  • Non-Partisan and apolitical
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to engage with election stakeholders
  • Resident in the state of application
