Duties and Responsibilities
Observer Management
- Recruit and manage LGA Supervisors and PU Observers within assigned locations
- Ensure observer participation in pre-election and Election Day activities with timely reporting
- Facilitate observer accreditation with INEC
Training
- Support and conduct trainings/workshops for observers and supervisors
- Assist with logistics for training sessions
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain regular reporting to Zonal Program Officer and WTV team
- Document insights, best practices, and lessons learned
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the organisation at the state level
- Engage INEC, civil society, media, and security stakeholders
- Promote the #WatchingTheVote initiative
Logistics & Administration
- Manage funds and resources in line with organisational procedures
- Oversee logistics for trainings, workshops, and stakeholder activities
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Political Science, or related fields
- Proven experience in civic engagement, election observation, or project management
- Non-Partisan and apolitical
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate work and meet deadlines
- Ability to engage with election stakeholders
- Resident in the state of application
