QUALIFICATIONS

A. ACADEMIC STAFF

  • Senior Lecturer (CONPCASS 07)Candidate must possess relevant Master Degree plus at least 12years teaching/research or industrial work experience and three (3) journals publications plus 3 conferences/seminars or a Doctorate Degree in relevant discipline plus at least nine (9) years teaching/research or industrial work experience plus three (3) journal publications and Four (4) conference/seminar papers.
  • Lecturer II (CONPCASS 04)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) in Elect/Elect plus at least two (2) Journal publications and at least 6 years teaching/research or industrial work experience; or a Master Degree plus 3 years teaching/research or industrial work experience plus one journal paper or Doctorate Degree. Demonstrable ability to handle work and related computing needs with utmost dexterity and services directly without need for Secretariat support is very key.
  • Lecturer III (CONPCASS 03)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in relevant discipline plus at least one (1) journal publication plus 2 Conference/Seminar papers plus at least 3 years teaching/research or industrial work experience or a Master Degree plus at least one conference/seminar paper.
  • Librarian II (CONPCASS O2)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Library Science with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
  • Technologist I (CONPCASS 03)Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (Minimum of Lower Division) in relevant field from a recognised Institution plus at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
  • Higher Instructor (CONPCASS 02)Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) at upper credit level in relevant skills/hands-on- related qualification from recognised Institution plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.

B. NON-ACADEMIC STAFF

  • Laboratory Technician (CONTEDISS 07)Holder of National Diploma (Minimum of Lower Credit) in Computer Science and Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology plus at least three years of cognate experience from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
  • Registry Department
    1. Principal Assistant Registrar (CONTEDISS 13)Holder of a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Arts or Social Sciences or Humanities from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus at least 12 years cognate experience or a holder of Master Degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus at least 8 years cognate experience or Doctorate Degree with at least 4 years post- qualification cognate experience in a Tertiary Institution.
    2. Assistant Registrar (CONTEDISS 11)Holder of a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Arts or Social Sciences or Humanities from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus at least six (6) years cognate experience or a holder of Master Degree in from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus at least Four (4) years cognate experience.
    3. Administrative Officer I (Legal) (CONTEDISS 09)Holder of a good Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B, B.L) (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
    4. Confidential Secretary I (CONTEDISS 08)A holder of Higher National Diploma (Minimum of Lower Credit) in Office Technology and Management/Secretarial Studies plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
  • Bursary
    1. Senior Accountant (CONTEDISS 11)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) from recognized Tertiary Institution with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate plus at least 7years post-qualification cognate experience. Membership of relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
    2. Accountant I (CONTEDISS 09)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) from recognized University with NYSC discharge/ exemption Certificate plus at least 3years post- qualification cognate experience. Membership of relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
  • Audit Unit
    1. Senior Internal Auditor II (CONTEDISS II)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Accountancy from a recognized University with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate plus at least 6 years post-qualification cognate experience.
  • Procurement Unit
    1. Principal Procurement Officer I (CONTEDISS 12)Holder of a University Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Division) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other related disciplines with at least 10years post-qualification cognate experience or a Master Degree in relevant discipline with at least seven (7) years post qualification cognate experience.
  • Health Centre
    1. Medical Officer I (CONMESS 02)Candidate must possess a minimum of M.B.B.S and must be registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
    2. Medical Laboratory Scientist. (CONHESS 08)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Division) in Medical Laboratory Science, Registrable with the Institution of medical Laboratory Science. (IMLS), plus NYSC discharge certificate.
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
    1. Programme/System Analyst I (CONTEDISS 09)Candidate must possess good Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) (Minimum of Second-Class Division/Lower Credit) from a recognized Tertiary Institution in Computer Science or related discipline with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate plus at least three (3) years post qualification, cognate experience with certificate in web design.
    2. Programme/System Analyst I (CONTEDISS 08)Candidate must possess good Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) (Minimum of Second-Class Division/Lower Credit) from a recognized Tertiary Institution in Computer Science or related discipline with NYSC discharge/exemption with certificate in web design.
  • Works and Physical Planning Department
    1. Principal Engineer (CONTEDISS 12)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate with at least 9 years cognate experience. Membership of relevant professional bodies is mandatory or Master Degree in Civil Engineering with 6 years cognate experience.
    2. Engineer II (Civil) (CONTEDISS 08)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University plus NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate
    3. Technical Officer (CONTEDISS 07)Holder of National Diploma (Minimum of Lower Credit) in relevant discipline plus at least three years of cognate experience from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
  • Sport Unit
    1. Sport Coach (CONTEDISS 08)Candidate must possess a good Bachelor Degree (Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in Physical and Health Education from a recognized University with NYSC discharge/exemption Certificate.
