We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title 1: Supermarket Cashier
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Job Description
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Requirements
- Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
Job Title 2: Pastry Chef
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Description
- Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs
- Prepare a variety of baked goods
- Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Handle and store ingredients and food properly
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standard.
- Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions
- Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
- Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
- Performs other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma / HND in hospitality.
- Minimum of 5 years experience obtained in a well-structured Kitchen or five – star Hospitality setting.

Job Title 3: Waitress
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job Description
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware.
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
- Present the menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate. This may be when they notice the art on the tables or wall and ask about it. Learn from the information slips ahead of time so you can speak knowledgeably and then refer them to the Gallery itself.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Meet with the Head Cook to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Follow all relevant health department regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, regular order pad, or by memorization.
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drinks.

- Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications
- Helping guests choose menu items or guiding them through drink options
- Taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their time at the restaurant or event
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Keeping the bar stocked and clean while
- Providing friendly and attentive service
- Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
