Qualified candidates should kindly apply below.The Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) is a renowned and accredited University teaching hospital to the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka. Located in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, the hospital was built initially as a 180-bed ultra-modern specialist hospital. An inaugural management board headed by Professor Joseph Otobo was sworn in June 2009 to manage the affairs of the Hospital when it kicked off initially. The earliest staff of DELSUTH consisted of a team of qualified Nigerian medical professionals drawn from the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Hospital was officially commissioned on the 19th of June, 2010 by the Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

(1)Job Title: Consultant Opthalmologist

Location: Oghara, Delta

Qualifications and Requirements

• An MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Degree from a recognized university, which is registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with evidence of current practicing license and NYSC or certificate of exemption.
• Part II Examination certificate of the Fellowship of the National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in the specialty.

(2)Job Title: Junior Resident Doctor

Location: Oghara, Delta

Job Description
Resident Doctors are needed in the following departments for the Residency Training Program:

• Community Medicine
• Family Medicine
• Orthopedics & Trauma
• Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Nephrology and Neurology)
• General Surgery
• Anesthesia & ICU
• Radiology & Urology.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates should possess an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Degree from a recognized university, which is registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with evidence of current practicing license.
• Possession of primaries will be an added advantage.

(3)Job Title: Consultant Pathologist

Location: Oghara, Delta

Qualifications and Requirements

• An MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Degree from a recognized university, which is registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with evidence of current practicing license and NYSC or certificate of exemption.
• Part II Examination certificate of the Fellowship of the National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in the specialty.

(4)Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Location: Oghara, Delta

Qualifications and Requirements

• An MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) Degree from a recognized university, which is registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with evidence of current practicing license and NYSC or certificate of exemption.

(5)Job Title: Neurosurgeon

Qualifications and Requirements
