Job Description
- The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in the daily business operations of the supermarket.
- General tasks include supervising employees, inventory management, communicating with and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the Supervisor and the Managing Director.
- Assist Supervisor to train staff
- Take inventory records
- Leads and supervises a team of Sales Attendants.
- Performs daily store activities such as opening and closing procedures which includes monitoring attendance, and activating security systems.
- Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
- Organize sales and product demonstrations
- Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a worker in a supermarket.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership skill
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- Manages time efficiently.
- Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.
Salary
N60,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
