The STREAMING Project (Sustainable Trade Regimes with Europe and Africa through Mapping Innovation, New Technology, and Growth-Mindset) has launched an Open Call for Knowledge Transfer, inviting organizations across Africa and Europe to develop digital training programs for farmers, food processors, start-ups, and entrepreneurs.
This initiative bridges research with practical skills, supporting interactive online courses that strengthen sustainable and inclusive food trade systems.

- Grant Amount: Up to €25,000 per project (~₦13M+)
- Total Budget: €275,000 for up to 11 projects

Proposals should focus on digital training and innovations in:
- Traceability in food supply chains
- Sustainable farming systems
- Food safety and quality standards
- Nutrition & micronutrient improvements
- Reducing food loss and waste
- Life cycle assessment (LCA)
- Scaling innovations in food value chains
Who Can Apply
Eligible entities include:
- Universities & research institutions
- NGOs & civil-society organizations
- Innovation hubs, incubators & industry partners
- Business schools & vocational institutions
- Consortia of up to 3 entities from Africa and/or Europe
Note: At least 60% of funding is reserved for African-based organizations. Women-led initiatives or projects supporting women farmers and entrepreneurs are highly encouraged.
