Applications are now open for the Agribusiness Facility for Africa (ABF) e-Academy 2026, a fully funded programme designed to support young African agripreneurs in transforming innovative ideas into profitable and investment-ready businesses.

About the Programme

The ABF e-Academy offers a structured, free learning pathway aimed at equipping participants with the skills and tools needed to build climate-smart and sustainable agribusiness ventures.

Participants will go through a step-by-step training process covering:

  • Business model development
  • Climate adaptation strategies
  • Investment readiness training
  • Development of a comprehensive AgriCanvas (business plan)

The programme is implemented by the Agribusiness Facility for Africa (ABF) in collaboration with international development partners.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Reside in an OACPS member country (including most African countries)
  • Have an agribusiness idea in one of the following areas:
    • Cocoa
    • Maize
    • Cashew
    • Livestock (cattle, sheep, goats)

Programme Structure

To qualify, applicants are required to:

  • Register on the atingi learning platform
  • Complete three mandatory courses:
    • Business Model Canvas
    • Climate-Smart Agribusiness
    • Investment-Ready Agribusiness
  • Develop an AgriCanvas (business plan)
  • Submit their agribusiness idea through the official application form

Note: Only applicants who complete all required courses and provide a valid certificate ID will be considered.
