Scholarship 2017 – The Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited, operator of the Umusadege Field in OML 56, on behalf of Delta State and its JV partner SunTrust Oil invites suitably qualified Nigerian students for the 2017/2018 Scholarship Scheme.
The Scholarship Scheme is aimed at promoting academic excellence and improving the skill-base among youths of our host communities and Delta State in general.
Scholarship Category:
The scholarship are of three different types with different requirements for each, they are;
- Secondary School Merit and Community Award – For Host Communities Only
- University Merit and Community Award – For Host Communities Only
- University Merit Award – For Delta State Indigenes Only

Requirements for the Secondary School Merit and Community Award – For Host Communities Only Requirements
- Open to JSS I & JSS 2 Students only
- Admission letter to Secondary School in Nigeria
- Result in the last 2 years in Primary School.

- Identification letter signed by Ward Counselor or CACC ( Community Accredited Contact-men Committee)

Application requirements for University Merit and Community Award – For Host Communities Only

- Applicant must be a 100 & 200 level students at the time of application
- JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from any accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
- Must have a minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English (only 1 sitting)

- Identification letter signed by Ward Counselor or Community Accredited Contact-men Committee
Requirements for University Merit Award – For Delta State Indigenes Only
- The award is open only 200 level students with CGPA of 3.5 and above in his/her first year in the University
- Must have a minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English (only 1 sitting)
- JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from any accredited/approved university in Nigeria
- University Admission letter from any accredited/approved university in Nigeria
