Eligibility and Qualifications for Recruitment into Adeleke University

Depending on the position you are applying for, there are certain requirements you need to meet.

For a Professor Applicant:

1. You must be a Ph.D. degree holder in the field you want to teach.
2. You should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching and research at the University level.
3. You have to present evidence of scholarship.
4. You should be able to supervise student projects.
5. You should have published at least twenty (20) research work both internationally and locally.

For an Associate Professor / Reader

1. You should be a Ph.D. holder in the particular field you want to lecture.
2. You should have a minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience.
3. You must have published a minimum of eighteen (18) research works both locally and internationally.

For a Senior Lecturer

1. You should be a Ph.D. holder in essential fields.
2. You should have at least 6 years of experience in teaching and researching.
3. You should have at least written fifteen (15) research works both locally and internationally.

For Lecturer 1

1. Aspirants must have proof of a First Degree, Master’s Degree, and Ph.D. Degree in necessary fields.
2. Aspirants must have at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience.
3. Aspirants with Doctoral Degrees need to have at least nine (9) international and local research works and publications.

For Lecturer II

1. Applicants should have either a First Degree, a Master’s Degree, or a Ph.D.
2. You should have a minimum of four (4) research works and publications online on both international and local platforms.

For Deputy Registrar

1. You should have a first degree or a master’s degree from an accredited University.
2. You should also have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the related field.
3. Being a member of a professional body and computer literate will be an advantage.
4. You should have at least an experience as a Principal Assistant Registrar.
5. You must completely understand how a University works to qualify.

Law Librarian

1. You should have a degree in Law (BL & LLB) and MLS & MLIS from an accredited University.
2. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field.

Senior Librarian

1. You should have either a first degree, master’s degree, or a Ph.D. in Library science from an approved tertiary institution.
2. You should have a minimum of six (6) years of university experience in the related field.
3. You should be digitally and manually versatile.
4. You should have knowledge of Web Literacy and Digital Information Management.
5. Candidates who possess a Doctoral Degree must have at least nine (9) published research papers both internationally and locally.
6. Candidates who possess a Master’s degree should have published at least ten (10) international and local research works and publications.

For Senior Medical Officer

Applicants need to possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

They must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

Applicants must have a valid and up-to-date practicing license.

Applicants must have a minimum of seven (7) years working experience.
